It's Football Time in Tennessee

The Derick Dooley led Volunteers will travel to Athens, Ga today to play the Bulldogs of Georgia. This will be another ranked team test for Dooley and Volunteers. Georgia comes in undefeated and ranked #5 in the nation are led by QB Aaron Murray and running back Todd Gurley who has rushed for more than 100 yards a game and a Bulldog team who is averaging 242 yards on the ground.

The Volunteers will also have to pass block a lot better today than they did against their first 4 opponents. Georgia OLB Jarvis Jones who is leading the SEC in sacks will have to be kept out of the Vols backfield or it could be a very long day for Tyler Bray.

The Vols will counter with a balanced attack of running and throwing with the Bray to Justin Hunter being the marquee pass catch combination of the SEC. Hunter has 30 catches and most NFL scouts have their eyes on the gazelle like wide receiver.

This will be a big test for the Volunteers and Coach Dooley. The Vols will at some point need to beat a ranked opponent and today will be the day they win between the hedges down in Athens. I look for a high scoring game with the Vols proving they belong in the SEC.
