The NY Mets sinked to a new low last night losing to the Colorado Rockies at Citi Field. RA Dickey received very little support in his search for his 16th win. The Mets were stymied by a rookie pitcher with very little stuff and the game was lost when Dickey could not hold a 1-0 lead. I think the Mets hitters believe RA must pitch a 1 hitter every game to win. It maybe the only way they win these days as the inconsistency has reduced the team to struggling status.
Tonight it is Chris Young's turn in trying to to win one for the Mets. Maybe DWright will give the Mets fans something to cheer about and his 200HR as a Met. LGM
