Mets On A Little Roll

The Mets pulled out a hard fought win last night over the home standing Phillies 9-5 in extra innings with 4 runs in the top of the 10th. The Mets pounded the Phillies for 14 hits on their way to their 3rd win in row. The boys from Flushing showed character with the win, coming back from a 4 -1 deficit as Ryan Howard accounted for all the runs with a grand slam off of Chris Young. DWright was in the middle of the Mets scoring outburst with 2 Hits, 2 Runs and 2 RBI. The first five batters in the Mets line up accounted for 10 of the teams 14 hits.
The Mets bull pen led by Bobby Parnell who was lights out, gave the Mets the chance to stay in the game with 4 scoreless innings of work.

Tonight young Matt Harvey goes for his 3rd win against 3 losses against Tyler Cloyd who was 15 - 1 at AAA and who is making his major league debut. Lets see is the Mets can keep the train moving forward with 4 in a row.

Is a miracle taking place?  LGM
