The NY Mets won for their forth time in as many games last night as Matt Harvey won his 3rd Major League game against 3 losses. Once again Harvey contributed to the Mets win with his bat, glove and arm. Harvey singled to left recording his 3 RBI of his embryonic Mets career and fielded his position flawlessly as he pounded the plate with strike after strike.
Lucas Duda hit his 13th HR a line drive that push the Mets ahead of the Phillies in their 3-2 win and he saved the victory with a fine catch in left field. The Mets win tied them with the Phillies for 3rd place and the players are determined to finish ahead of the Phillies and Marlins.
The dream lives as the Mets go for 5 in a row in a matinee with Jon Neise going against Kile Kendrick.
