Mets Rise from the Ashes

The NYMets took a page out of their June play book and won for the first time in the last ten games at home. Mr. Cy Young, RADickey was stellar pitching a 5 hit, 1 run, 7 strike out gem.

The Braves come into NY for a three game series as hot as any team playing. The Braves have won 12 of their last 15 and are staying close to the league leading Nationals, a mere 2 games back. Needless to say this is a very important series for the Mets with a little luck the boys from Flushing may just turn the ship around. Today's game should make all Mets fans smile, it was a glimmer of hope for better times at Citi Field.

Lets Go Mets

                    NY Jets Report

The NY Jets coming off a very depressing 8-8 year have a lot to prove to their fans. The Jets are as uncertain as ever. Last year's crash and burning has cut a big hole in the swagger of the boisterous Jets. Head Coach Rex Ryan and his team are looking to rebound with a stellar defense and an offense in confusion. Santonio Holmes and rookie Stephen Hill have been fighting injuries slowing down new Offensive Coordinator Tony Spanos' offensive plans. Ryan and Spanos both are counting on the running game to take away pressure put on the shaky aerial attack. The offensive line has been dominated by the defense in practice and has not played up to expectations.

It will be very hard for the Jets to make playoffs this year. Although the defense could be the best ever and number 1 in the league, Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow are not quarterbacks that will lead any team to a championship. Time will only tell, Lets Go Jets.
