The NY Mets continued their second half slide losing 9-3 to the Atlanta Braves. Johan Santana making his first start since coming off the DL was atrocious giving up 6 runs in 1 1/3 innings his shortest outing of his career. Santana was noticeable favoring his right leg as he walked off the field. Mets brass has to be second guessing itself for bring him back so soon.
The Mets will try to avoid a sweep at home by winning only their second game in the last twelve home starts.
