Mets Fall Flat

The Mets and Matt Harvey came out of the blocks as lazy as I was on Sunday afternoon losing to the Padres for the second time in three days. Terry Collins' boys were never in this one as Harvey gave up six extra base hits in 5 innings.
David Wright continues to slide and is now hitting under .330 for the first time this season. The Mets have no time to lick their wounds as the Marlins swim into Flushing for a three game series and only four games back of the Mets in the standings. Miami is ripe for a sweeping having only won four of their last ten. The Fish are led by Jose Reyes and his 24 game hitting streak. Look for Reyes to receive a less than friendly welcome from Mets fans as they look for the Mets to prey on the lowly Marlins.
